In-Person Interviews to Take Place Soon!

Now that our written application period has closed, our overseas Awards Judges will be visiting Rarotonga in February to conduct the in-person interview portion of the Awards application. The Judges will contact the businesses direct to schedule the in-person interviews. As in past years, the Awards Finalists will be chosen based on the ratings the Judges apply to both your written application and your in-person interview.

Awards Applications Opening Soon!

Online applications for our 2020 Air New Zealand Cook Islands Tourism Awards will be available as of Monday 21 Oct 2019. This year there are 10 Business Categories, and businesses have the opportunity to submit applications in as many categories as they wish. The Cook Islands Tourism Industry Council highly encourages all of our members to submit an application and give your business a chance to win one of the coveted Awards! Further details and a link to the online applications will be available soon.

Our next Awards cycle is getting started!

Our new Awards Committee for the 2019/20 Awards has been formed and they will be having their first committee meeting this month (April 2019). They anticipate applications will be open by Oct 2019, with a deadline of Dec 2019. And our next Awards Gala is tentatively scheduled for April 2020. So watch this space!
